Account Manager

Your first assignment will be as an Account Manager. You learn about your accounts, products, industry, and the Company’s business practices.

You’ll work closely with your customers, finding ways our products can build their business, increase market share and improve consumers’ lives. Using strategic selling concepts you’ve developed, you’ll make data-based presentations to your accounts. You’ll have access to experts in Finance, Marketing and Product Supply to help solve problems or to implement your ideas.

Advancement Opportunities

Customer Business Development offers increased responsibility at each level. The length of each assignment is based on your abilities and the opportunities available, of which there are many. When you demonstrate the ability to handle more challenging work, you’ll be given assignments with larger, more complex accounts or that offer increased responsibility. New responsibilities can be offered within your current team, or as part of a move to another team. Since CBD people need to be within driving distance of their accounts, your new assignment could require relocation. But any new assignment will be designed to help you improve your skills and prepare you for opportunities to build business and lead people.

Assistant Brand Manager

You will begin your career as an Assistant Brand Manager on a brand group. This group includes a Brand Manager and two to three Assistant Brand Managers. From the first day, you will be given immediate responsibility and be expected to build your part of the business as if it were your own. During the first 12 to 18 months, you will be responsible for developing a marketing plan to identify specific marketing tactics. You will use your plan to build on consumer, shopper and customer insights to deliver overall business objectives and strategies.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Drive the equity of P&G’s brands, market share growth and make a significant contribution to the business results.
  • Build partnerships with our customers to drive growth for the business, customer, category and brand.
  • Create winning strategies to promote marketplace success today and tomorrow.
  • Build awareness and quality trial for our brands.
  • Coordinate the efforts of production, sales, advertising, promotion, R&D, market research, purchasing, distribution, package development and finance.

Primary Responsibilities

As a member of CMK, the breadth and depth of your consumer and market intelligence is vital. Typically, you join as an Associate CMK manager. Enjoying immediate responsibility, you will work with different business units around the world, receiving all the support and coaching you need to develop your potential — and your ideas for our business. Your career can vary in a vast area of possible assignments with differences in your job content and area of application. You can be part of a business team or become one of the CMK top researchers, investigating new techniques and methodologies.

CMK Internship

As an intern in CMK, you will be an integral part of a multi-functional business team, especially with Brand, R&D, Design, CBD (Sales) and Finance partners. You won’t be fetching coffee, but working in real business situations on real world issues essential to P&G’s business. Our CMK interns are internal research consultants who identify and define business issues and opportunities, then design a research plan to generate the understanding needed to solve the problem or capitalize on the opportunity. This internship is your chance to make a lasting impact on P&G’s business, and also to challenge and further discover your own capabilities. Your opportunities and experiences can be as diverse as the types of businesses P&G participates in.
